PTA Agenda 11/16/21:

On behalf of the PTA board members we would like to start off by saying thank you to the staff members, and a very special thank you to our parents for attending our October 19, 2021 meeting.We invite you to our November 16, 2021 meeting at 6 PM via Google Meet, at which time we will be having a nomination and election for the position of co-treasurer for the PTA. 
Co-Treasurer – Shall be responsible for assisting in all financial affairs and fundraising activities of the Association. The co-treasurer shall also assist in maintaining and updating records of all income and expenditures of the Association. We look forward to seeing everyone!

Title 1 Agenda 11/16/21:

We would like to cordially invite to our November 16, 2021 meeting.
We will be voting on our proposed spending budget in the amount of $3,214.00.  Below is a list of sample workshop topics for title I parents and examples of title I expenditures and activities.
Sample Workshop Topics for Title I Parents:
1)Promotion or Graduation Requirements
2)How to Work with Your Child’s Teacher Using Technology (in-person or virtual)
3) Internet Safety or Bullying
4) Nutrition or Health
5)College and Career Readiness
6)  Teacher-Parent Mentoring Programs 
Examples of Title I Expenditures and Activities
1) In-person or virtual staff-parent book clubs* (e.g., cost of books & materials)
2) In person or virtual joint staff-parent professional development seminars* (e.g., cost of materials and presenters)
3) Partnerships with NYC cultural institutions
4) Creation of a parent resource room or lending library
